How should a med spa structure its pricing and packages?

The short answer
Keep the menu short, build packages around the result a client wants rather than single services, present one recommended plan at the consultation, and use offers sparingly. Clear pricing is easier to sell and easier for your team to explain.
Simplify the menu
Long menus with many similar options slow decisions and confuse staff. Group services by the concern they address and retire options few people buy.
Package around outcomes
Clients think in goals — smoother skin, a refreshed look before an event, ongoing maintenance — not in units and syringes. Packages framed around a goal, with a clear timeline, are easier to understand and to commit to.
Be careful with discounts
- Frequent promotions can train clients to wait for the next one.
- Prefer added value (a complimentary follow-up, a skincare consultation) over cutting price.
- Know your margin on each service before running any offer.
Present one plan
At the consultation, recommend the plan you believe is right, explain why, then state the investment once. Offering three options often leads to the smallest one or to no decision at all.
