What should my med spa website say so Google and AI assistants recommend it?

By the partners at Shefa Atelier ·

The short answer

Your website should clearly explain each main service, answer real client questions in plain language, and keep business details consistent across its pages. This makes the information easier for people and automated systems to understand, but no wording can guarantee Google rankings or inclusion in an AI assistant's answer.

Give each main service a clear explanation

A service page should help someone understand what the practice offers and what the appropriate next step is. Do not rely on a service name, a decorative headline, and a booking button to do all the explaining.

State what the appointment is, whether the page describes a consultation or a service, and where the service is available. Have your medical director review clinical descriptions. Keep this work focused on the content of your website rather than treating it as a general local-search checklist.

Use headings that describe the subject plainly. A reader should not need to interpret brand language before finding the answer they came for.

Answer the questions people actually ask

Ask your front desk and coordinators which general questions recur before booking. Turn those into clear headings followed by direct answers. Use recurring question themes, not patient stories, records, or identifiable conversations.

Useful business questions include what a consultation includes, how pricing is explained, whether the appointment can be booked online, and how to contact the right team member. Where the answer depends on clinical judgment, explain that boundary rather than giving a universal answer.

  • Lead with the answer instead of a long introduction.
  • Explain unfamiliar terms when they are necessary.
  • Say what is uncertain rather than implying a guaranteed outcome.

Keep business facts consistent within the site

Check that service pages, contact pages, provider introductions, and booking links agree. A service should not appear available at every location if the booking process shows otherwise. Temporary arrangements should not quietly become permanent website claims.

Use accurate provider roles and credentials with appropriate review. Make it clear who is responsible for the information and how visitors can reach the practice. Do not add unsupported claims about being the best, safest, or most effective.

Keep important explanations in ordinary page text rather than placing the entire answer inside an image. Ask your website provider to make sure visitors can readily access the content.

Review accuracy before adding more pages

Create a simple content review process with an owner for business details and appropriate clinical review. Revisit pages when services, providers, locations, or booking arrangements change. A larger website is not automatically a more useful one.

Check whether the page answers the question without forcing visitors to contact reception for basic logistics. Also check that the next step matches the explanation: a consultation page should not send people into an unrelated service menu.

Use business-level inquiry and booking patterns to assess usefulness. A visitor mentioning an AI assistant is information worth understanding, not proof that a page will keep being recommended.

Keep strategy separate from production

Our Revenue Growth Diagnostic ($995 one-time) can help identify unanswered business questions and priorities along the acquisition journey. Your website provider writes, builds, and maintains the pages, with appropriate professional review.

We provide strategic advisory services. We do not provide advertising management, content production or full operational execution.
